MTBI provides help and assistance to research academics / entrepreneurs seeking to translate their scientific research into commercial enterprises.
MTBI provides a range of low cost, low commitment physical resources (office space and administration) to provide the entrepreneur with a viable commercial presence and a platform whilst developing their new enterprises.
Additionally, MTBI provides an extensive range of advisory services and soft infrastructure to assist new entrepreneurs. These include experienced coaches and mentors, as well as legal and professional advisors.
In addition, MTBI have access to a broad resource network of invaluable contacts and institutions (government and private) to assist in connecting the new business into the global economy.

A high level of commercial expertise exists within Access MQ for the tenants of the Incubator. Access MQ is a lean and multi-skilled operation, nurturing cutting-edge businesses right across Macquarie University’s
academic enterprise. And as such, the team at Access MQ has extensive
experience in taking new technologies from concept to market.
